Our hope is to help populate heaven.  Research shows and we agree that new churches are one of the best ways to reach new people for Jesus Christ.  We are blessed to have the opportunity to daughter a new church in Edmond called Connect United Methodist Church, which is being led by Rev. Adam Ricks.  Acts 2 UMC will be serving as the "mother church" to Connect, and will help start Connect until she is able to become a self-supporting United Methodist Church.

 

Approximately 10% (a tithe) of Acts 2's participants (about 40 persons) are expected to help launch Connect.  Connect held her first "ultra-sound", or preview, service on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 at Acts 2 at 11:00am with 231 in attendance!
