It is the goal of Acts 2 that its congregation becomes radical Christ followers. It is also our desire for all of the community outside our Church walls to know the love of God. This is why Acts 2 supports the
Hope
Center and Clinic of Edmond.
The
Hope
Center and Clinic is a non-profit agency that assists several thousand struggling families each year in
Edmond. This assistance comes in the form of food, clothing, referrals to other assisting agencies, and limited medical services. Its goal is not only to help with the immediate needs of the families but also to help resolve deeper issues in their lives for more comprehensive and long-term solutions.
Acts 2 diligently collects monetary offerings and item donations for the
Hope
Center and Clinic as well as continuously lifts the agency and the people it serves up in prayer. We also direct several families seeking help to the Center each year.
It is our hope that all involved in the Hope Center and Clinic Outreach – the donors, the volunteers, and especially the ones being served – are touched and transformed by the power of Christ and the love God has for His flock.
